🌊 Ocean Freight Export Procedures

1. Export Contract & Order Confirmation
   A trade contract is signed between the exporter and importer, and the order for the export goods is confirmed.

2. Goods Production & Preparation
   The exporter manufactures the goods based on the order and prepares them for shipment.

3. Selection of Freight Forwarder
   The exporter selects a freight forwarding company and delegates the ocean transportation.
   At this stage, shipping conditions, costs, and schedules are discussed.
   We coordinate the entire transportation process, from loading at the origin to delivery at the destination, ensuring economic and efficient solutions through:

• Transportation mode selection

• Route planning

• Schedule management

4. Preparation of Shipping Documents
   The forwarder books the vessel based on the requested schedule.
   Suitable vessels and container types are selected depending on the cargo’s size, weight, and characteristics.

5. Export Declaration
   The exporter declares the shipment to customs and prepares the required documents.
   When delegated, we handle the export declaration process, including:

• Bill of Lading (B/L)

• Commercial Invoice

• Packing List
  We also support customs procedures based on import regulations.

6. Cargo Packaging & Pickup
   Once the goods are ready, the forwarder arranges pickup.
   The cargo is delivered to a packaging facility for appropriate boxing or wooden crating.
   Proper packaging is crucial and tailored to each type of cargo.

7. Cargo Loading (Shipment)
   We reserve space with the shipping line and manage container loading.
   After proper packaging, the cargo is loaded onto the vessel and prepared for departure.

8. Transport & Tracking
   While the cargo is en route to its destination, we track its location and status, providing updates and addressing any issues promptly.

9. Arrival at Destination & Customs Clearance
   Upon arrival, we collaborate with our local forwarding partners.
   They receive the documents in advance to prepare for import customs clearance.
   The importer or local forwarder proceeds with the customs process.

10. Final Delivery
    After customs clearance, the cargo is delivered via inland transport to the importer’s designated address for final handover.

That’s why we plan carefully based on the shipper’s schedule and determine the best transport method—whether by sea, air, or rail.

Each stage may require different documents, time frames, and costs, so it’s important to be flexible and well-prepared.

If the shipper delegates customs and forwarding tasks, the forwarder collects the necessary documents in advance and works with customs brokers for declarations and clearance.

When end-to-end service is requested (door-to-door), we coordinate even the inland delivery after customs clearance.
